Go test drive one first. I'm old and have driven stick my entire life....I loved it when I got an automatic in my truck back in 2004....can drive, sip my coffee, no issues. I drove and rented an automatic and loved it for a week.....I then test drove the manual and really didn't care for the clutch feel and the sloppiness in the stick....so to each his own I guess.

I'll tell you this.... you will get bored the other way too. I always did. That's one reason I just got the auto. I,d get bored either way shifting gears. I wanted to go faster fro the starting line.
I agree, but not only will you get bored either way... with the manual you will get annoyed in extremely horrible traffic.

Manual becomes a reaction, with experience. Like sipping coffee when reading the forums... you just reach out and pick up the mug and... sip. All while not taking your eyes off the monitor... 'click'... 'click'... 'click'...

And to clarify, my buddy is a good driver. Did a little road racing at the Fest, and drag strip twice.

This last clutch that burned out on him was a Monster clutch, but the stocker was gone in about 20k.
Agreed. But, after frying stock clutch multiple times noboday wants to chance it again, and spend another visit in the shop. So, then end up being scared to drive M6's aggressively unless they buy an aftermarket clutch that is "much" better than stock.
