Tough Call.

Ropping it off and Taking Both Keys sound good. However, a potential buyer is going to want to see the inside too. Also the dealer could call OnStar and have them unlock the doors. Rope it off, Take Both Keys and Call OnStar and tell to not unlock any doors unless a Code is given and Disconnect the battery cable.

Or, if your not the far from the Dealer. Tell the Dealer you will take your Car and to setup a time frame with any Potentail buyers for you to show the Car off at the time thats is good for you. That way potential buyers get to see the full Camaro and Hear the Camaro under your supervision. Also get a discount.

Warning what I'm about to say is not going to help.

The first Camaro at a local dealership got in was used for the May 6 unveil. One guy's kid was jumping around in the Camaro like it was a Jungle Gym.

Be careful!

Go to the dealer. Take a picture of the odometer. Then decide if you want to take your car home or work with the dealer. But, remind the dealer that you do NOT WANT ANYONE driving the damn car. Figure out what you would accept as additional mileage for moving the car to & from the showroom floor. But anything else? I would kill them.

Here's what I would do...Agree with the display for 2 days, specify on paper that the car will be roped off, no access to car for anyone
(NOT EVEN THE PRESIDENT ), and you are to be paid $500/day. For anyone who thinks that is a harsh deal, think what "you" went through before you actually got your car.

If these terms are not met than finalize the paperwork and just

Great looking car Rally...

I hope you have a great time driving it. I will be getting mine soon. Maybe we could hook up for a drive down the road. Will keep you up to date as mine comes in. Hopefully I will have it by May 30th and we will see each other at the stafford car show.
