Has the Nationwide Unveiling Date been moved to May 11th?
I am going to be out of town on May 5th and 6th and my car should be at the dealership by then (thanks to all the folks on this forum, I know where my baby is!
 ). So, I call the salesmen to make sure he will call me when my car comes in. He proceeds to inform me that the Camaro Reveal/Unveiling has been moved to May 11th. Has anyone else heard this?

Last I heard it was still May 6th for my dealer.

I just left my dealer about 2 hours ago and they said it was May 6th.

I talked with my dealer this morning and he said sometime around that week the "unveiling" was to be taking place. Gave me the...."GM said the 6th and then said it was delayed, then back on again for the same week..." story. He's been helpful so I have no reason not to believe him. He also said they would be getting their car that week so I will be there checking things out.

the dealer in staten island told me may 11th when i went there...i actually argued with him a lil and sed it was may 6th...lol...camaro5 has most of us so cocky and sure of ourselves when it comes to camaro information...or atleast just me...but my dealer in new jersey i ordered from didnt tell me anything about the day changing to the 11th

Nightmare...can you cut some of those pics off? They extend the post past the page so it doesn't fit on the screen and requires scrolling right to left to read. Thanks..

I asked a salesman here, and here's how that part of the convo went...
Me - "Uh, do you know when you'll be getting your hands on the new Camaro?' Salesman - "Well, I've been told it'll be around the 1st. We're supposed to be getting 6 or 7 in..." Me - "I've heard there is supposed to be a nationwide unveil at all the dealer on the 6th, do you know anything about that?" Salesman - "Well, that's what they told us, but that could change at anytime, so I'm not entirely sure." He was being real smug about it too. He acting like I wasn't supposed to know about it... what an @$$!

I called back to the dealership and asked to speak with the guy who orders the car. He said that their floor car (V6) would get there on the 11th. The bigger dealership would get their cars on the 5th or 6th and the smaller dearlerships would reviece theirs around the 11th. The unveiling date had not changed that he knew of. Sorry about the confusion. My dealer is soooo confused!
