Where do you buy your micro fiber towels?

Need to get some good quality ones but some sites the prices are nuts. I don't want to buy a couple, I want a few. Thanks for the ideas !

I own about 40 of these. I buy a new 10 every year, and retire the worst 10 to wheel/oil change duty.

I order from Amazon but use The Rag Company like above. Eagle Edgleless are great towels. I also use their Platinum Pluffle waffle weave towels a lot.

Does anyone remember these being dirt cheap when they first came out?

Split a case:

I was looking at the rag company, but I got so confused. Do I want 420 or 460, edgeless or silk banded, fluffy or waffle, china or Korea?

I know some of that depends on if I am waterless washing or removing product, and that apparently varies depending on the product.

What I would like is a $75-$100 pack that contains a wide array to cover what I need, wheels, interior, exterior, etc that I can simply buy. I know it sounds lazy, but I don't want to spend hours learning the ins-and-outs of fiber technology.

Same here, can someone break down what's best for what?

The link I put up above is a excellent general all purpose towel, that will do EVERYTHING WELL, that you need done with a microfiber towel. I hate to make things over complicated. I wouldn't have bought 40 of these over the years, if I needed five different type towels for detailing. Rediculous.

Some guy about a year ago that owns a vendor from the vette sites , called me and wanted me to put together from his inventory what I thought was a good detailing towel kit. He sent me about 15 types, I picked 4-5 out that I thought would do the job for diff detailing jobs...... The kit is listed on his website, I got no money for this, nor do I collect anything for it, I'm not in this business. But it is a nice kit.

But you want a general rule? Towels are rated as GSM, which means how plush lthey are. Anything below 300 is good for tires , general cleaning l oil changes, etc. 300 to 600 is good for general detailing; getting wax off, buffing etc. etc. Above 600 is a super plush rating, that's great for a final wipe off, after the car is perfect.
