Great wheel cleaner for pretty cheap
This wheel cleaner worked really well for me. It runs $8 for 32oz but you dilute it 2 to 1 so effectively $4 for 32oz. The directions say 4 to 1 but that was not strong enough IMO. I have a 15% off link in the video description if you want to try it (not a sponsor, I got the 15% off link after I bought the stuff)

NEVER NEVER use a wheel cleaner, too harsh!!!
Your clearcoat will cloud up over time, guaranteed! Just use your carwash soap in a spray bottle and soft brush. Hit it will carpro H20 and done

The harshness of the brake dust left on the rims after almost no driving has lead me on a mission to find something that is reasonably priced.
btw - 1st cleaning with a non wheel cleaner ruined what I consider a faulty finish on these rims

throw all the wheel cleaners away! New brake pads are the answer.

I found that the chemical guys diablo does not cloud and leaves a nice glossy finish. It’s a nice medium weight solution kinda in between gel—liquid. It’s definitely not too harsh when diluted properly.

Wheel cleaners are too strong if you wash once a week or every 2 weeks. Use your basic car wash soap, put about 3 cap fulls in a spray bottle with water. Dwell time is the answer... Daytona speed brush is your friend.. The carpro hydro 2 really helps future cleanings, of course going Ceramic is the way to go............. There is a pH spreadsheet on autogeek about how strong these cleaners are. Try to stay away from them. I'd rather do a wheel 2X with soap and water then use that corrosive stuff.

I agree, I don’t think wheel cleaner should be used more than 2 or 3 times a year. If you have a ceramic protectant on them like Hydro2, you can clean the whole wheel with Rinseless, or car soap.
And if you have a dirty brakes like a brembo, you got to change out the pads.... you can’t keep using wheel cleaner.
