I was at the launch event at the NOLA motorsports park. We put this tire through the paces against some of its top competitors. Bottom line its the best dry handling Streetable tire I have ever tested and I have tested just about every top performing tire out there. I attached a picture of myself doing the skid pad challenge. Let me know if you have some other questions.

Here is a link to the BFG Gforce Rival on the Tire Rack website. You can click on the sizes tab to see all avaliable sizing.

the 315s aren't due out until May or something...I would have bought a full set other wise. May still next spring. I figure a year is all I will get out of my NT05 on the back. Unless I drive it way less that is.

Wow, so that's you huh... I've seen your video on YouTube quite a bit.
You just made me want these tires so now I have a bunch more questions;
-How many miles will they last?
-Will the 285 or 315s fit stock wheels 20x9.5 rear 20x8.5 front? If not; what size will they fit?
-Since I only race at the drag strip; would it be nessessary to buy the front tires as well, or am I better of with just the rears alone?

Yeah thats me. I will post some more pictures of the event soon. You will not be disapointed with the grip.

As far as wear I have to guess as they are brand new but 15k-20k street miles would be a best estimate for now. These tires are more about smiles over miles. They are a soft compound UTQG 200. These tires also start at a lower 7.5 tread depth for less tread squirm. For autocross and track the tires wear more consistently versus any other street tire I have seen.

285's should go on 9.5 to 11 inch rim
315's should go on a 10.5 to 12.5 inch rim.

Uhh.... I don't think I'll like that that much, I'm a daily driver, I wouldn't want my car looking like a bracket car.. Any other recommendation size?

Is there any chance they will offer some additional sizes soon? I just saw this tire last week on Tire Rack and would love to do some testing with a brand new set!!!

I have 20x8.5 front and 20x10 rear wheels. I would like to run a 305/35 on the rear and a 275/40 on the front.

I like my BFG's. better than the crapellis

I had sport comp 2's

PSS are an even better tire, especially for a mix of street and track use.

Curious how theses rivals will do.

what are the performance difference between the 3 rib and 4 rib treads? and whats the range of squeel to completly slipping and out of control? is it instant like a slick or more manageable for a hobbiest?

Unfortunately not for this season. If these sell like I think they well BFG will probably expand the sizing next year.
