Can't wait for wife to get home so we can get it on. Hope she likes the extra 3".

Bought a 3" cowl Harwood hood last fall, tried to paint it and my old compressor must have injested some oil, silicone, who knows, but even with two water separaters (one at compressor, one at gun) new hose, everything I cold think of, I was getting a million fisheyes. Got pissed and hung it out of the way for the winter.
Bought myself a new 60gal compressor. Sanded down the hood and repainted it. A few dust boogers, but nothing terrible.

I wanted white stripes on my black car, so I painted the hood, and plan on putting vinyl on the trunk lid and spoiler. I wanted the stripes separated a little more than the typical Rally stripes, and I like 'em big.
That way i can go back to stock if I sell it some day.

Can't wait for the wife to get home so we can hold it up while our boy puts the bolts in.

Will post more pics after it's on.

That didn't take long. Still need to do some work on adjusting the gaps, but it was getting dark and I'll worry about that tomorrow. Will buff it out after it cures a couple days.

I'm getting some vinyl for the trunk lid & spoiler, and thinking I will try a couple pieces on the lower front spoiler/bumper similar to my 68 in my avatar.

Getting dark & car's dirty. Some poor phone pics.

A few more pics...we all like pics right?

I'm about 5'9", and here's a pic I took with the phone right at my eye level showing how much the hood blocks your vision. Not very much at all.

I made my "hood cart" from a couple left over deck boards, wagon, and some 1/2" conduit clamps. Worked great, and made working on the hood a lot easier.
