that mustang is lowered... thats why it fills the wheel well that much

stock height probably would have looked better

LOL yea i agree with you 100%...black and chrome is one thing but all black does indeed look cheap. atleast have a chrome lip or something!

And as far as the challenger and mustang goes...the challenger's rims are ugly IMO but that mustang looks sick...i was gonna go with 20's or 21's but im thinking 22's now...what can i say i like the bling over plain/cheap looking black wheels and even silver(non-chrome) wheels...

I remember my father putting 16 inch american racing alloy polished wheels on his 99 pewter colored Tahoe and it ruined the whole truck. It had the visor w/ lights, tints, rain gauards, front push guard (if thats what its called) and the lil cages over the tail lights...sick sounding exhaust(was either flowmaster or magna flow i 4get) and he had the blue neon ground affect lightning underneath. was a real tight looking tahoe except for them dam rims!...

I want my car to look good as i'm goosin down the streets of NYC. =) just gotta watch out for them pot holes

Well if I remember correctly my "67" bird had like 14 or 15 inch rims with 50 series tires. I kinda preferr the smaller rims like say 17" with some wide tires. So I think the rims are too big. but then again I dont like that syle on most all cars I see, except for maybe a hummer.

+1 and well put. I plan on doing 22x8.5F and 22x10.5R to fill the well a little better and to widen the path (255/35 and 295/35). ")

^ Ah man, I hope no one does that while driving a Camaro. Can you imagine what those people are thinking as they lose control, or the people who got the unexpected hit? Horrible. And I think the concept set of 21' in the front and 22' in the back is perfect, but the rims that are already coming with the Camaro are perfect, seems like a waste of a good rim and tire to replace them as soon as you get it.

everyone dont forget. 20" rims arent really that big when you consider how big the wheel well opening are on the new Camaro. I saw a G8 with 19" rims on it that looked like 17" because the wheel openings are so big.

Am I the only person who thinks the 18 inch rims we've seen on this car so far are perfect in terms of size?

Anything bigger than 20 and you are going to feel every nick and cranny of the road. On my current car I went with 225/45/18s from a 225/55/17 and the ride was like night and day. And the potholes will ruin your wheels pretty fast. The extra wide wheels also will make it so much worse because there is more tire to make more road noise.
