1969 camaro 327-?
my father bought a new '69 camaro just after i got married and moved out. i remember this white camaro, black interior and black vinyl top. it also had factory black painted stripes above the ft and rear wheels. it had "327" emblems on the fenders- is this possible ?. i have never seen another '69 with 327 emblems. was this a rare car ?. im new to this site, thanks guys.

Welcome
327 first gen Camaros aren't really rare persay. They were the base V8 model for those cars. In 1969, RPO was LF7 I believe, a 210 HP 327 V8. Not really sure about the 327 emblems.

If I remember correctly, the 327 was only for part of the 69 model year then the 307 came on the scene.

thanks for the replies to my fathers '69 camaro engine question. this car was offered to me in 1985 but by that time it was totally rusted. the car had never been garaged and long island winters had ruined the body but the car had less than 50,000 miles. very quick car even with a 2bbl carb.... thanks again.
