Pulled over
Just got pulled over for speeding. Was doing around 80 mph on the highway (limit 65) when I see cop lights behind me. He said I was going 86 which is crazy, with HUD I could always see how fast I'm going. Wrote 84 on the ticket. Either way a bad night in general

Was he hiding or did you not just see him?
Also aren't there devices like radar alerters or something? Where can I get one and how much are they? I've gotten 2 tickets in a year. 60 in a 45 (Speed limit changed by 10mph and I missed the sign) so... :S 1st one was my fault 100% (Showed my brother's friend what a V6 could do)

That sucks bro...I got lucky once, just like u I was doing 85 in a 65 and got pulled over. Cop was cool and told me to slow down and to have a goodnight.

It was bound to happen!! I just got my first 2 weeks ago. I was doing 63 in a 40 but the cop was really cool. He kept me in the cheapest ticket bracket and wrote the ticket for 49 in a 40. Being military probably helped a bit. It was the only time I left my radar detector off.

Yeah in Alabama you do not want to get pulled over with a radar detector. They are illegal here and it can be up to 400.00 on top of your speeding ticket.

Last I heard detectors were only illegal in DC and Virgina... now jammers on the other hand are another story.

Yeah... I recently was stopped by the law... I was pulling into my employer's parking lot when all of a sudden the lights start flashing. The cop tells me that I was speeding on a freeway which is two miles away from where I work... Will try to fight in court.
