Glad I could help. Use some of my radiator money for it and ignore the fact that you're getting another radiator, then you're net positive in cashflow plus lost some weight. And I'll always be here to purchase your 2nd or 3rd revisions to help you reinvest in your car.

Looks great Krusher! Welcome to the club. I like the clean look of the valve covers, but it made me wonder if grinding off the studs for the coil brackets would make it that much better...you know...Nathanize it. Just a respectful suggestion!

You guys are killing it! I've spent a ton of time on the vette forums over the years, and the talent and attention to detail on these builds is blowing away anything I've ever seen. Those guys would cry if I sent them this link. Absolutely amazing work

Sweet! Quick Update: Had the wind shield removed. LC these are the two bolts holding the substructure that wont come all the way out without removing the windshield. With the windshield out, I was able to take out the sub structure. Always fun trying to figure out how each connector comes apart This is the harness that runs behind the air box to the fuse box. The only way it will come out is by disconnecting it from the inside and pulling through the engine bay. Requiring the entire assembly to be removed. Since I'm putting the fuse box in the glove box, I will be shorting it about 3 feet. With everything out, I covered the holes and finished grinding the overhang. This is the before picture. Also trimmed off anything that no longer was necessary. The blue tape works well as a guide. Everything in front of the blue tape was trimmed off. Got rid of a few brackets also. I wish would have done this a long time ago instead of tiptoeing through the tulips. I would have been much further along today. Last edited by Moreno1; 05-05-2013 at 11:09 AM. |

I'm never gone...watch this and the other thread daily. Just quiet while I
Ground-breaking work you guys are doing. One question I have: how is the hood going to seal at the top along the windshield? Or does this become your new windshield "defroster"?

I can see myself just cutting those bolts and adding studs just to remove the substructure..
Yet so I will have to remove the windshield for the cage anyway.. Thanks Nathan.

Hey all, if anyone is looking to flip their fuel rails 180 - I have an extra short GM braided hose for sale that connects to the fuel line (as seen in my picture below). No need to post here, just PM me please!
Keep up the good work Nathan - I am getting ready to do cam, head work, FAST intake, headers and stall! |

Just wanted to show the motor i just built for my car. Already had a lot of underhood dressup. Just your normal 850hp/1050tq LS3. Added some more powdercoated parts like the intake and intake tube. All fittings and hoses are AN fittings now and added new bolts to the engine.
Nathan, you should be commited! |
