Anyone Traded-in their Convertible?

Has anyone traded in their Camaro? If so, would you mind posting the year, model, mileage, options and what the dealer offered you.

I've traded in two convertibles. One a 2011 auto and the other a 2012 manual. Both were 2SS/RS.

The 2011 had 2434 miles. The dealer gave me $31,500 on trade for the 2012.

A year later I traded the 2012 for a 2013 ZL1. The '12 had 3907 miles and the dealer (different from the first) gave me $31,325.

I had done some bolt-on mods (catch can, CAI, cat back exhaust, scoop, and ported TB) along with a set of custom wheels to the 2012. I returned everything back to stock except for the exhaust and TB before the trade.

i got rid of mine a couple months ago. the chevy dealer offered me 24 thousand for my 2011 2ssrs with 9 thousand miles. gm offered me 2500 trade assistance because of my 5 tops. they also wanted list price for the 2013 vette i asked about. the new vette was discounted ten grand on the internet, but not for me.?? i had them double check and called the area svc rep but no better offer. at the ford place i was offered 27 and the 2014 mustang gt was discounted ten grand. my camaro is a known leaker at the chevy dealers all around. gm can kiss my crusty old butt. i still love the camaro, but will never buy gm products again and my kids are forbidden too.

ps. i got quotes from 3 chevy dealers before i bought ford. none were better than this one. my car had a clean carfax despite having had 5 tops. i added borla exhaust for a couple grand, and i paid 52 grand. one of the first verts out, i paid five grand over sticker to have that leaking sob.

Did they ever check the seams inside the rear quarter panel. The wife's started leaking into the rear passenger floorboard at about 13k miles and the dealer stated they had resealed several from this and had nothing to do with the top or water management bag.

Also....how would you rate the mustang vs camaro (minus the issues) in wind noise with the top up etc.

sometime in August or september last year I got offered 24000 on 11 2ss vert trading for a 2013 ZL1 I told them I wandted 3200 they asked me where I came up with that number I told them NADA book They told me they went by Kelly Blue Book We looked it up it was valued at 30000 and change. All the sales man could say was to help him out. I told him to take a hike.

This past August I went for an estimate at my selling dealer and at CarMax within 2 days of each other because I was looking at some 2SS 'verts.

We own an early build 2011 2LT Convertible - completely stock - 4k miles. Title in-hand.

Dealer Offer: $23k

CarMax Offer: $24k

The difference between what we would've received for our (barely used) 'vert and the cost of a new '13 2SS 'vert was ~$17k - after 2 years of ownership! We passed.

Our 2LT was paid in full when we drove her home and we just weren't comfortable either shelling out $17k to have her paid off or financing. Could we afford it? Yes. But it just didn't make sense to us.

Maybe I am reading this wrong, but they offered you 24k for a 2011 2LT vert?
