Powder coating quote..?

Hey guys, so I think I want to powder coat the rims on my 2ss rs camaro. I called Glendale Powder coating yesterday, and they told me that the wheels on my car "might" be powder coated already, said most of the stock SS's come with powder coated rims, is this true?.. How do I tell?

Due to the fact that they are powder coated already, he would have to chemically strip off the powder coating, which cost extra and takes longer.

A little north of $400 to strip and coat the rims, and a week... A week without my car!?

So are the rims powder coated from the factory?

No, but they may be painted.

Disount tire was going to do mine for me, they told me that I could drop it off in the morning and it would be done by that afternoon, cost was $100 per wheel. I ended up just buying the Factory Replicas that were already black, since I wanted to get the same size wheel on all 4 corners. 1 week seems like a long time.
