THIS YEARS BIG EVENT (Sept 10-13)
Well, people have been starting to ask, "What's the big event going to be this year?"
I am pleased to let everyone know that we have the opportunity to support a long-standing, annual event that could be one of the most highly attended events of the year. It's in the early stages of planning, but please put the weekend of Sept 12 & 13th on your schedules for the NEOCC Fall Classic & F-Body Summit, to take place on the grounds of Summit Racing in Tallmadge, Ohio. In past years, this event coincided with the Bowling Green, Ky. event, so taking that into consideration this year, it was decided the NEOCC Fall Classic is THE place to show your support and attend with your Camaro or Firebird in 2009. It's important to let others know about this event on the other forums you visit. Let's welcome new friends coming in with their 5th Gen Camaro and show them what being an enthusiast community is all about. In past years, we've arrived early to do some meet & greets and other activities, so keep the 10th & 11th open, as some of the forums are most likely going to plan something for those days. Here is the website check back for updates. http://neocc.homestead.com/ |

Thanks 35th02SS for making this post ! This is Sherry from the NEOCC and we're really looking forward to hosting the show this year! We've got some really great ideas and a lot of cooperation from Scott/GM, Summit Racing and our other sponsors. We can't wait to reconnect with some old friends and make a lot of new ones!! Stay tuned for more details!!

Wow, those words are something I would have written!
Thanks for posting a new thread on this, J.D. I've made mention of this event in a few other posts, but it's good to have it's own thread. We really need people to understand that this IS the big one of the year (like INDY was last year). Our room is booked for early arrival on Wednesday September 9th to get an early start with meet & greets and watch everyone come into town. Keep spreading the word and SSee ya'll there!!!
