Could you at least post a link to your listing? You go to EBay and type in Z28 brakes and there are 393 entries for used section. Lots or searching to find yours.

Many thanks
Larry

In your ad it says the rotors could stand to be replaced for like 1100. Did you mean pads? Would not think you would need a new rotor at 5k miles. Figured you just made a typo and might want to fix it.

He blew the engine and went to 18" wheels. He tracks the hell out of that car so it likely needs rotors at only 5,000 miles. Mine likely needs them at 6,000 miles.

What's the life expectancy on rotors?
Street use vs Track Use?

Street use only they'll last almost forever - literally. Street use won't ever get the rotors even close to warmed up.

Hard track use can wear them out, but they'll still out last steel rotors. I've heard mixed feedback on how long they'll last with track use, with some guys running the same rotors for multiple seasons, and other guys killing a set of rotors in one season. Depends on how hard you drive the car.

This is correct - the car is a 100% dedicated track car other than the body panels there is isn't a single OEM part left on the suspension, drive line, or motor.

My personal experience... I'm at the equivalent of 18 hours of track time and I believe my front rotors are close to done. Have not gotten a weight but consulted a few members and they think they're probably at or below spec. 10 - 12 days isn't all that great and I don't abuse brakes.

I'm pulling my rotors off and switching to steel discs. Some Z07 package vett guys claim similar lifespan and better modulation / bite. I can try to dig up the review I found and post here.
