Search the forums. Many members (myself included) had the same experience (no contact, no emails, etc.). After paypal dispute was filed, part was sent. Part looks good, but customer service sucks.

Amazingly, I STILL don't have a clue what was ordered. I'm going to guess a CAGS plug n play? For $12.50 and a lot of hassle, it'd be easier to pay a little more from SLP or some credible place. And can't for the life of me understand why anyone would need one overnight. But that's your choice I guess.

That blurb of customer satisfaction seems to be total BS, huh? Never believe everything you read on the 'net.

Their entire website looks rather shady. I'm not sure you could even buy through them with anything other than paypal anyway. A LEGITIMATE company would offer other means of contact, optional means of payment, return policies, other policies, dispute resolutions, etc.

It's unfortunate, but I guess you're at their mercy now. Here's the rub. They have 30 days after getting your money to ship your item or they MUST offer an extension date for shipping or allow you to opt for a refund. Doesn't really matter if you paid for overnight or not, if they don't have it in stock, you're not getting it until they ship it.

You got rooked, plain and simple. Sad thing is, you paid for overnight shipping to boot.

Took forever to get mine (4 weeks or something I thnk) I tried to get my money back through Paypal and then in the next couple days it showed up. They don't have a phone number, they don't answer emails, they have NO customer service, but their harness is awesome once you get it.

El Ess X...a little grumpy today are we? He ordered the DRL plug n play harness I'm pretty sure. That's what most poeople have ordered from Adaptive. And, like I said they don't have a phone number. All they give you is an email address, which I'm pretty sure they don't ever open.

OP- hang on for a while, it's worth the wait once you get it. Looks amazing. Just gotta hang in there, I was right where you are a few months ago ranting about them when I was waiting for mine.

They didn't respond to my emails either but I got the harness in about a week and it was everything they said it would be.

ur missing the point i think. after reading the other replys from people that ordered from them, they have horrible customer service. it is like stealing if you take someone's money and give them notheing in return...even a simple respone is all a customer needs. i would never treat my customers that way. an email take just a few seconds......

Amazing how inconsistent some vendors are - I got mine in 10 days back when they first posted them - works great. I agree that they must make them as they receive orders/$$$ - lean inventory... doesn't excuse epecially when overnight shipping is offered...

Yeah, I got mine from them back in Jan with no problems. However, I would not order anything from them today - they just have too many issues that they're not addressing.

IMO, there's absolutely no excuse for not answering email from people that send you money.

Wow... wish I would've seen this thread earlier or done some more research...

I ordered the DRL harness on Friday 06/04 to go along with the ACC p13w's I ordered the same day - the p13w's were in my mailbox on Tuesday 06/09 - still waiting on the DRL harness... so far I have sent several emails - one to adaptiveperformance@earthlink.net and one to info@adaptiveperformance.com (the earthlink one was listed under the seller information on my paypal receipt the other was from their website) I still have not heard anything back from them

I know its only been a week but after seeing all these posts and hearing stories of people waiting 4 weeks... I'm wondering if I should start the paypal dispute process now...

I too am glad to read this. I ordered the P13W LED's from AAC and they are scheduled to arrive on Tuesday.

I was going to order this DRL harness, but haven't for a couple of reasons. From what I've seen through research there are the following issues:

- Some have mentioned that after 3 weeks or a couple of months in some cases that the diode goes out and causes the fog lights not to work.
- From some additional research I've done, the AAC version can be done at home with the same parts and about a foot of wire total.
- They don't appear to be the greatest company to do business with.

I agree with all of the above comments. I don't care what your selling or how great your product 'might' be. If you don't have respect and common courtesy for your customers, your not going to have customers for very long.
