On the last cai I installed, i needed to unhook the battery so that the ecu would reset itself to the higher air flow. Is that required here as well. Also is there a link somewhere to installation instructions. Thanks.

Hello i007spectre,

We always recommend disconnecting the negative battery cable for a couple of reasons.

1. Safety
2. To allow the computer to relearn the parameters of the new Cold Air Intake system!

On my old car unhooking the battery reset trips, radio, basically everything other than the actual car mileage. Anyone know if the camaro has any kind of backup. so I dont have to restart/ reset everything.

so with the ECU, is there really going to be a increase in HP. or the ECU will just suppress it.

increase...the ecu wont *manage* the new power
