new management, they are actually really well run and the prep is amazing now. they took over in oct of last year. also, the g35 might not be stock, he called the company to see if it has a tune. it's able to rev higher then normal. he isn't a troll and is a good friend of mine. you won't ever see this g35 beating my car from a dig or roll rain or shine.

Shiznight84 raced him this past Friday. He did 13.3-13.4 @ 105-106(intake/programmer) and this guy now has a tune and headers did 13.0-13.1 @ 107-108 mph. Those are 20 inch wheels, not 22's like some people made assumptions about. Several members on here saw it, it runs good now. |

I'm not buying the 13.4 on the Camaro as a real time. A stock SS should be running closer to 13.0 times. Stock G35's can't hang with stock LS1's at all much less modded cars. G35 & 350Z owners often think that those cars have a leg up on the competition but in truth while they are good performing cars they are a little behind the GM LS V8 cars, and have been since introduced in 2003.

My best time last weekend was 13.3@106. Da was 2800 at the time of the pass. Corrected should be somewhere in the 12.80 range for my l99. Im also fighting on balding street tires. But that will be taken care of soon enough. Yes stock ss should run 13.0 in perfect conditions. Not the ones we were in last weekend.

I had an 07 g35s sedan with the 6mt option. It was a fun car, but no comparison to my m6 ss.
In that year g35 6mt sedans all had the vq35hr that reved out to 7.5 k. This was a 3.5 that borrowed advancements planned for the 3.7. Still only ran a 13.8 with Berk high flow cats being the only mod. |

Yep lets all blame the wheels. Because you know the car being heavy isnt slowing it down either.

I had a 05 g35 coupe auto supercharged, running 363 rwhp. I think my unmodded ls99 is faster. The g35 is all lower end torque, craps out at the higher rpms.

08-g35s,
Key part being G37! :-) it's making another 25 HP over a vq35hr and up to 55 hp over a base g35 at sedan without any modification. And it has a much more tune friendly variable timing setup. Also, did you check over the car to ensure it was stock? I didn't exactly brag about my high flow cats and no one could see them. If you didn't own a stock one, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference in sound either. Just sayin... stock looking and stock are not the same. C5z28, Wheels are unsprung mass and a little can hurt a lot! But yes, heavy overall. Ilirg, The vq35hr's exchanged some of that for top end power. Mine went all the way to 158mph several times on a track. I hung with a timid c6 driver up until the speed limiter. I'm in no way saying it could outrun any c6. I'm making fun of the guy earlier blaming the wheels. In stock form these camaros aren't really all that nasty, but a few modifications and it changes the ball game. |

12.6 @ 111 ? Seems slow.... I did 12.6 @ 111 in my 02 Camaro on all seasons with intake/gears/tune. Stock y pipe, manifold, exhaust
You should be trapping more than that imo |

I have 310 hp 3400 lbs, you weigh only 400 lbs more have nearly 120 more hp. Brians trapped 108 stock and he has an L99, shiznight here. Did 13.0's.... trapped 107-108 when the DA was what is considered normal(below 1500) He did a small vvt2 cam, x pipe, intake traps 114 stock exhaust manifold and running a safe tune. It was running dangerously rich and still is, been trying to get tune dialed in but is having trouble. Somehow I read you were ls3, I guess it seems right Lol |
