In Search Of: Side Marker to Turn Signal wiring harness

Can anyone link a wiring harness that will make the side markers blink with the turn signals but keep their sidemarker functions when not blinking?

I was sure that I saw one or two listed here, before, but can't find them with the search function and can't find them on Google/Bing, either. (apart from an all in one headlight/marker harness for $170)

I tried to get the guys at my local mod shop to do it for me, but they couldn't figure out how to keep the markers as markers. They can only make them markers OR turn signals, not both.

Got my hopes up for a minute, then I saw that they said LED only. I had toyed with the idea of getting the showstopper LED side markers but decided I liked the look of my normal blacked out side markers, as they went very well with my side stripes.

However, turning my side markers into dual mode markers/signals is kind of important to me, so I suppose if I can't find a harness to work with the OEM markers, I'll have to upgrade to LED.

If you can make a harness for OEM markers, consider them bought.

Also, do you (or anyone else) know where I can pick up some brighter bulbs for them to compensate for the blacked out lenses? (Ones that wouldn't generate so much heat that they'd melt the lens.)

Alternately, I wouldn't mind going with an LED side marker if the LED could simply replace the standard side marker bulb inside of the OEM housing. And be much brighter.

=edit=

So, you could either challenge yourself to do the harness for OEM bulbs or find a way to replace the OEM bulb with a much brighter LED (to show through the black out better). Either way you've got a sale.

I"m going to get some standard bulbs today for comparing to the LED bulbs that we have. The problem is the area where the bulb is. It's not designed to reflect the light evenly at all. It just bleeds out from the center to one end.

The spec on standard 194 bulbs looks to be 25 lumens. Our standard, 194 LED (five chip) is rated at 100 lumens, but, that's doesn't tell the whole story.

It would be cool to do a double bulb LED set up inside of the OEM lens to get more even light, but with 4 times the candle power, it might be unnecessary.
However, I am curious as to the whole story.

Here's the problem...

The bulb has to be 1" long, or less.

Here is a stock bulb...

Here is our 5-chip LED...

Check these out, I don't have them but I have purchased other LEDs from them and was very pleased.
