I currently own a 2010 camaro 2ss ls3 with borla atak cat back and volant CAI I would like to know how much hp would I get from a tune with just those two parts installed? Is it worth paying for a dyno tune?

Thank you very much dyno Steve I was a little skeptical about an actual difference didn't think it would make one.

Not true , A tune will help with more HP and Torque depending on your Mods , But even with straight stock you will gain both .

CamaroFreak626, with an LS3 I assume you have an manual trans which means no Displacement on Demand or torque management that comes with the automatics. Skip shift can be tuned out if it bothers you.

No not true!! Look at my signature and noticed my RWHP. This is not a radicle tune. I could have gotten more but wanted on the safer side since this is a daily driver. Well, worth it.

Everyone with a stock tune needs to know one thing - GM was forced to tune your car with two things as priorities - Fuel economy and pollution control. The EPA demands that auto makers meet certain goals, so that's the tune you got. An aftermarket tune is the best gift you can give your car or motorcycle. If done by a competent tuner, not only will your engine run better and have more power, but it will also last longer. You don't need to wait until you get headers to get a nice tune.

Back around 2006, I was tuning Harley Davidsons using Harley's SERT (Screamin Eagle Race Tuner). You haven't seen anything until you seen a stock, air cooled engine running an EPA tune. You wouldn't believe how much better a tune made those bikes. I created a lot of custom maps back then.

You won't lose hardly any mpg you even gain mpg depending how hard you drive her. I personally lost only 1 mpg. In the summer I average about 23 mpg and during the winter I get 19mpg. I could get more but I like to drive her. Tune really is worth it. Just to get you dreaming, you will notice more improvements when you switching to a 3.91 gears and the Vertisse Throttle Controller.
