got a ticket.....again

So tonight i was pulled over for having blue led aftermarket halos on the front of my car and just found out that's illegal in the state of arizona (just moved here from California so didnt really know that) I was wondering if instead of having them on at night can i have the blue halos on during the day and when it hits night to go back to the stock bulbs
these are my head lights http://www.phastekperformance.com/20...halo-kit-2.htm
blue with amber signals

Blue lights on a car while driving is illegal in all states, same with red. They are reserved for emergency vehicles only.

I saw a white Camaro this after noon pulled over on the 101 and thought it might have been you, until I read your post.

It depends on the cop really. Me personally I don't see any problems with red or blue as long as it's not flashing. How many emergency vehicles you see with just a steady blue or red lights on? They are flashing right? So, if our lights don't flash what's the big deal? I have a MPD1 hood with a scoop and I put a red LED inside so it's let up when my lights come on. So far I have not been stopped and I work swing shift and I saw at least a dozen cops that saw me but they didn't stop me. Sorry about your ticket he should have given you a warning first.

So you say you got a ticket again... How many tickets have you gotten? Was it also for the blue Halos?

Even the in the daytime they would be illegal while driving. I think in most states the law is only white or amber lights on the front are legal while driving.

It was the first time for the headlights others were for speeding and stuff I think what I'm going to do is rewire it to the high beams so I can control them and then just put led bulbs in

Yup because someone might mistake your Camaro for a fire truck or an ambulance and start pulling to the side of the road!

Blue lights are for cops, red lights are for firemen. I don't really care about the laws, but I never used those colors out of respect for the folks in those professions. Same reason I wouldn't put a Veteran sticker on my car.. I am not a veteran and I respect those who are.

My halos are adjusted as legal as possible. Almost amber lol. Red or blue is just asking for a ticket in any state.

I don't care what lights are for what. I use my colorshifts whenever I want! I'm not hurting anyone by having blue halos.
