Plasti dip and glossifier is what I would do. Don't know how to remove the ring.

He's asked how to remove the ring. Not for opinions. Reading is the key....

Well, as for removing you just pry the ring off. You can use something with a flat tip like a screwdriver, but I have been able to pull mine off with just my fingers. The clips that hold them on aren't very aggressive.

The rings just pop on and off, pretty easy, you just grab the edge and pull it off, the only thing you gotta do is line up the notch for the valve stem putting them back on. Painting them is also really simple, I painted mine just over a year ago. You just gotta scuff them up a bit to make sure the paint sticks, then spray on a couple coats of paint of whatever color and a couple coats of clear.

Exactly just pull off. Plasti dip though in case of resale if someone wants the silver ring it won't be affected just peal the rubber layer off. If it starts to look dull tire blacking/shine products can be used on it because it's rubber.

Removing and painting to get it to look like the one in the pic. The one in the pic used plasti dip not an opinion. Get a life troll

The point was he was asking for advice not opinions. I wasn't going to list off the things he was asking, just trying to make a point. And you obviously thought my comment was geared to you. But it was meant for the comments above you which we're saying how bad it would look (which are now deleted.) but thanks for being a sarcastic knob

Maybe a comment was deleted but it looked like you were bashing the Michigan fan for telling him to use plasti dip. Which was used in the OP pic.
