Will the Corvette CAGS By-Pass work on the Camaro SS

I plan on putting together a "Camaro SS" gift package for my son (Zaino products, Micro Fiber towels, work gloves and a plastic sheet, flashlight and a CAGS By-Pass) and want to know if the CAGS By-pass being sold by numerous Corvette Forum vendor's for $17 will work on the SS?

I sent a few e-mail inquiries but am not expecting any responses until after the holiday but thought folks that have taken delivery of their SS could respond.

Cheers

Tom

Yes, it will work. Go to www.slponline.com and look up the 2010 Camaro stuff. It has a skip-shift eliminator and it is the same for the GTO, Corvette, G8, and Camaro.

Go with 100% cotton like DF Concours or the towels from Zaino especially if they are going to be used along side Zaino.

I gotta ask, Draco, why is clingy bad? And what "grit" are you talking about? I've just never heard of anyone complaining about a microfiber towel scratching their clearcoat as you are implying.

Windows only: I follow Sal Zaino's directions to the T. Have since 1999 here's a look at my very first attempt at using Zaino back in 1999 on my Arctic White 99 C5

Micro fiber towels are synthetic and do produce static during the polishing process. Static does attract dust. I use cotton baby diapers.

I find skip shift very annoying in traffic. Do the 2.2K ohm 0.5w resistor across the connector pins trick.

Been awhile since Mark was in those, huh? What you say does make sense, but those microfibers do "remove" very thoroughly.

Boy, ya know, if I wasn't getting the auto, I'd really have to ask you to expound on that one.
