I was under the impression that the key fob and the key were one in the same. How did you find a way to separate them?

Yeah i'm either going to be getting snow tires, or sharing a jeep wrangler unlimited with roommate. That's actually what I'm doing now while I wait for the Camaro to be delivered. It's not bad because we both work together.

I would like to get snow tires but from what I have read it doesnt seem like there are many options for snow tires so I probably won't do that.

That was the method I used for my previous vehicles. The Camaro has both units in one.

I know when you stick the key in the ignition, the controls on fob don't even work.
so you might be SOL on that option...

Ahhh gotta love how the inconvenience of having separate key + fobs turned into a convenience when they decided to put them together. Lol, that's a clear example of how there is no one fit solution for any product.

BUT. I just remembered my last car 2006 Charger had the key and fob in one but because I had a police package they had it separate. I wonder if GM had an option like this.

Regular Charger:

We have a 24/7 dispatcher that sits in a weird watchtower type looking thing over the parking lot.

^^^ That's what it looks like!

Water in the background and the advertisement on the bus stop threw me off. Amityville is my last guess.

Gotcha! I'm in the Kings Park/Smithtown area that was the reason why I asked. Now I know when I'm driving to stay clear of the Camaro with lights flashing lol. Hey at least you will be the fastest one to the firehouse!

Ps grab some snow tires

You'll do more harm jumping in your cold car and running it hard without it heating up than you would shutting it off after you've driven it hard. You're WAY over thinking it.

Did they catch the vandals that graffitied the door and back wall of the tower?
