WeatherTech Mats & ProClip Garmin Mount

Hey guys, just wanted to share some pictures of my recent purchases. I ordered a set of WeatherTech mats, and a ProClip Garmin mount. I decided to go with the WeatherTech because rubber floor mats are by far easier to clean than carpet, and being my daily driver, it was the perfect solution. No more worrying about my passengers keeping their feet on the mats!

Here's the mats

Here's the ProClip mount

Thanks! I spent about $120 shipped for the front mats. I decided not to get the rear mats because I rarely haul more than one person with me anyways. I might get the rear set later down the road. I ordered right from their website. Really, I cannot even describe how nice these are. They drop right in and fit like a glove. Here's the link (for a 2011)

I decided to go with black for the contrast and because it's not going to show dirt as easy. :p

Both of those items are great! I have the weathertechs and I live on the beach and I dump about a half a cup of sand out of them every week that would otherwise be going in my cloth floor mats and probably my carpet underneath. They also help you not have heart failure when some drunk chick spills a large coke from Whataburger in the passenger floorboard......don't ask. Needless to say, these things hold alot of fluid without spilling over. I know alot of people like their custom cloth based floormats but these things are tough as nails and functional and will save your car from disaster if and when that big spill ever occurs. I want that GPS mount too...got a link to that?

Oh wow, glad to hear your mats held up over that. I would be freaking out >.<

It's a ProClip mount with Garmin holder. Their site is little finicky, but you should be able to figure it out. http://www.proclipusa.com/

It took like 2 minutes to install and feels really sturdy.

The Proclip is great. I use it for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9. I now have a large screen for navi (Copilot), plus I have the Torq app for real time monitoring of HP, torque, intake temps, and a whole lot of other things. Mine isn't a daily driver, so I don't have a need for the rubber mats. I can understand why others might need them, though.

That's pretty cool Dave, have pictures of it mounted? Yeah, if it wasn't my daily driver, I would have probably gotten some nice plush carpet mats.

No problem!

Since you live in Colorado, how does the Camaro handle in the winter? Do you have winter tires or just use your all seasons? I'm going to load my trunk with a few bags of salt, but I was wondering if I need a set of rims with winter tires on them in addition to the added weight?

Wow, those mats look a lot better than I thought they would have. I'm really considering looking into them now actually.
I've got Lloyd mats and love them but at college they can get dirty and I fear the day someone spills something!

I appreciate you posting this, very good info and pics!
