Besides the lower iat thing and street manner stuff I agree for over 1000hp it's just easier to make it with turbos.

Very nice. Has to be a pretty conservative tune, which is a good thing. Seems there should be quite a bit more in that setup.

yep turbos , no belts to worry about , which tend to be a problem when making big power. either slipping or breaking.

Congrats Bull! Its got to feel good being able to drive it without the other issues popping up every other day.

Thanks, yes it's very nice to drive it again. 900 miles round trip and not an issue.

On a side note, the more i read about twin PTE6766 turbos the sooner i want to do it. I really want to get some use out of my D1 but i dont know how much longer I can hold out. These turbos are beastly. I wonder how 1100-1200 whp feels

Think about when you kicked the tires and lit the fires in that beast you used to fly.... It'll kick you in the nether regions...HARD...... you'll run out of gear way before you ever run out of power.... your car will accelerate harder in 4th gear than it did stock in first....

Shifting into 4th gear and having the front suspension stretched out as the front end comes up is AMAZING....

That is just dreamy. I've never been in a 1000+ car before, but 4th hitting like first paints a pretty explicit picture. That's insane. Congrats Bull. We had a family friend a while back that was a trainer for F-16 pilots here in Wichita. He even mowed his yard fast!

My tuner had a '12 TT 5.0 that was north of 1000rwhp and that was absolutely insane! He had slicks on it and it still blew the tires off the car. It was one hell of a ride, right up until 4th gear came apart. He sold it shortly after it got put back together so I didn't have a chance to get the full effect of the power.

One of these days..........
