New guy here from good ol CO. I picked me up a 96 camaro for 400 bucks, needing a swap so thats where i stand as far as a car. Whats the best swap? I'm looking for high hp, and i wanna turbo charge it eventually. Whats the best motor? I would like a ls1 but i want a lt1 because i want they are cheaper! This is my project, I have worked on plenty of motors and transmissions but this would be my first swap in. Looking forward to it!

forgot to mention i do have a 01 lsx 5.3 outta my suburban i couls use.. But i'm not sure what all you need? would this mate to a t56 transmission? I've read about it but this is the best place to ask questions

JSduramax Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in them...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's and wive's here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
