Now THAT'S much better. Now we are talking. The spoiler and headlights are no good. The rest of the car I could easily live with, as the new wheels are flat out badass, the engine is a saucy meatball, the new suspension, weight reduction, and braking are all fantastic. GM......we are now rolling in the right direction. Excellent job on the Z28. It kills the SS in every way shape and form that was shown yesterday.

Z/28 vs. GTR?
Z-28 vs Whatever Ford brings in 2014.5....Won't be a Boss or Shelby..could be a Mach-1 or something.

Pissed because I didn't hold out for a bare bones race car with an ugly ricer rear end? Not a bit.

Exactly. 10k more, minimum... Deal breaker for me.

No carpet in trunk
Stiffer track oriented suspension

If I wanted something without modern creature comforts I would buy an old car and just upgrade the motor.
Yes yes yes! Its bad enough that I need to take my hand off my womans ***** to shift gears when she's all wound up and ready to go after a nice dinner, but take away my barry white pandora station, AC (IN FL or TX, no less), and it's noisy also? No thanks.

Another great point. Going from 24 to 19mpg would have really soured this car for me. Mine is a DD and I need all the mileage I can get, especially in town where the 3.91 rear and close ratio M6 helps tremendously.

Its like they were building this car for me! This is what I have wanted in a new camaro since they came out in 10. High rev v8, manual trans, no frills, just bare bones and fast!

have fun re-mortgageing some of your homes, even though it should be in the 45k slot, I have no idea on earth how it could be. GM isn't interested in selling 50,000 of these cars, as it does not appeal to the masses they were shooting for credibility.

I wouldn't really compare the Z28 to the Boss 302. The Boss is more like the M3 and for that matter a 1LE it's a car that performs fantastically on a track but at the end of the day it's not purpose built for the track. Even the Laguna Seca won't hold a candle performance wise....

OK, I dig this but, the SS revealed yesterday didn't do too much for me. I'll be keeping my 2010 ABM SS. However, If I could afford to have a 2014 Z28 as well, I would place an order for one today.
