wd-40. period. will not hurt wax or anything else.spray on,let soak 10 min. rub off with your choice of cleaning "apperati" really works great; and my car is black,so i would know if there was a problem.

it's petroleum based'soit does not penetrate, wax or paint'so you're good.

I just don't hit the bugs.

Takes fantastic eyesight, quickness and excelent driving skills.

Get's a little harder at 100 mph but works great.

old rocker is exactly right. havent washed my 67 in 5 years .detailer micro cloths, no swirls or scratches.

wet it down, spray with simple green, let sit, spray them off.

Poorboys Bug Squash! Prespray w/ it, then blast w/ a hose. 99% of the time, they come right off You can use a microfiber mesh bug towel on the tougher areas
