1st time tracking the car
Went to a test and tune event on a 1/8th mile track. Was a blast and can't wait to do it again. With exception of one fairly pissed off guy everyone was very nice and friendly and really explained drag racing very well.
People said I did very well for a 1st timer, how do you guys think I did? My next run reaction was pretty good at .414, but my ET sucked. My best run was was my 4th run, someone called me out right after a run and immediately went right back to staging lanes which I know was a big mistake since the car was already hot. Wasn't until my last run that I realized I had traction and stabilitrak on the whole time so next time I will take them off. Car has a L99 automatic with the following power adders Fastlane intake, Kooks stepped headers, ported TB, I had Nitto invos 315/30 20" tires on forgeline rims, and a tune by Jannety racing. R/T: .7499 60': 2.0843 330': 5.7317 1/8 ET : 8.6653; mph: 85.29 mph Name/Location of the track: Eddyville Raceway, Iowa Date of pass:9/28/14 Weather conditions: 80.1 Degrees, 45% Humidity, Density Altitude: 2699 , Relative Density: 92.34% Last edited by krusher; 10-02-2014 at 09:41 AM. |

Nice work. Intoxicating isn't it? RT doesn't make you faster but it can get you there first and that's what counts. Heck that 60' ain't bad on street tires.
