However, I will say this... bring my wife into anything again and you won't have to worry about solid food again. That's not a threat, that's a promise. |

You can dish it but cant take it. Becareful james, you may be the only one left in the ICE CLUB at the rate you treat its members. I am referring to camaro and vettes with your comment on other challenger owners. My comment had no intentions on talking bad about your wife, it was a joke towards you. So calm down and go clean your camaros.

(IGNORES COMMENTS ABOVE)
Nitro: This will be interesting to run our cars together...we have the same rwhp, just went about it differently. Yours will hold up longer...but I would love to see how they act on a closed course. Glad they got her back together for you. Cannot wait to hear it/see it

You're right, I think I will go clean my Camaros. Unlike your Camaro, my Camaros actually get driven. |

Well....I tried to do well for us Iowa guys at the Camaro Superfest in Michigan. Cancelled out my room due to very busy, but then Saturday after work, said "what the heck" and did an all night drive to make event for Sunday.
Car was clean and detailed even after playing at GG auto cross, figuring doing spot detailing after the drive. But luck ran out, I ran into a massive rain storm on the way and that just f'd up any chance. At 6am, went to the host hotel, used the free car clean area, scrubbed, cleaned best as I could, and entered in the 2010-12 Super Car class. I pulled down a 3rd. It is getting hard to earn a trophy when the others in my class all had less than 500 miles. As what has been prior said, brand spanking NEW should have different judging considerations. Was up against very new ZL1's, dealer sold Callaways, or Nickeys, and etc etc. Oh well. Had fun! I did learn how to polish, detail with the Adams products, they had a great display and were all day doing lessons/demos on machine polishing with their products. And toesuf94 Scott, you would have been back flipping on a brand new THR ZL1! Guy from Chicago "just picked it up", with THR installed extras of headers, and CAI. The miles he had on it were driving it home from Tom Henry in PA to Chicago, then to Ypsilanti. Beautiful car and some classy THR badging Tim S |

Been using Meguairs mostly What was neat on the Adams is the easy buffing system to remove those sunlight seen "cobwebs" Those swirls that we get from using the Calif Duster, wash mits, then drying with any towel or chamois. Black cars have it the worst! The 3 compounds are colored and using the matching colored pad in 3 steps, one after another with a buffer (they sell) matched to their pads After that mist spray on a "shine enhancer" let dry, wipe haze off with their double microfiber cloth, ending with their "wax/sealer" Tip: The guy taped (the green paint tape) all joints or seams (like between hood - fender) and etc to prevent the pads getting hooked and keeping the residual from buffering getting inside the crack/joint. I did buy a start kit of products and a buffer. So I will be using real soon! Did I mention the car they were letting anyone try and demo with was Lingenfelter's black convert which gets heavy use. (Rims were really beat up and Adam's guys worked hard on those) |
