I've had my 1LT up to 180km/hr exactly on the highway, and it still had balls to go. The only reason I slowed down was the fact that I was running out of straight road. I'll be taking it out to my local drag racing park this summer to test top speed and 0-60.

I had my 2011 1LT RS to 155 once.It took a bit to get there but it did it with no issue what so ever,it felt just fine! I have had my 1LE there several times and she gets there a lot quicker. In my opinion the V6 and V8 shouldn't be electronically limited to the same speed.

When I had my 2011 1LT/RS LLT, I got it up to 146mph before I let off. I had more to go and could have easily hit the 155 limiter. Now my 2013 SS hit the limiter on the dyno in 4th and I have had it to 152mph otherwise.

Of course it took much less time to get there with no wind resistance!

About 112 unless yours came from factory with 19" or larger Perelli's which is about 155 on level ground without a headwind.

An Hptuners programmer can do it. You can either buy the programmer or take it to a shop that uses hptuners. I'd recommend upgrading to W/Y rated tires first. The S rated tires on the stock 18's are not safe above above 112mph.

if i remember right the popular science took a un governed SS to around 175. so i would think a ungoverned V6 wouldn't be to more than 155. but that would be interesting to know.
