North of Austin Meet (TEXAS) - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey all who are North of Austin and Camaro Owner's
(this includes, but is not limited to, LEANDER, CEDAR PARK, HUTTO, TAYLOR, ROUND ROCK, GEORGETOWN, PFLUGERVILLE, NORTH AUSTIN).

We're having our first "north" meet-up. It is this upcoming Tuesday, August 26, 2014. Time is 7pm. This initial meeting will help us determine how we proceed going forward (frequency, location, dates, times, etc.).

Add yourself to it and invite others, if you'd like. Note that you don't have to be from a North location in order to attend. In the future, we'd like to invite out reps from local speed and repair shops as well, in order to make this a great networking opportunity for all.

This is NOT to replace existing AUSTIN AREA get together's, but is more geared toward being a supplement for those of us too far north to attend the south location gatherings.

I'm going to try and make it. I've wanted to go to the events down south but it's difficult to make it down there.

Just wandering how the meet-up went? Couldn't make it out, work out of town during the week, and home on the weekends. Did y'all decide on the next meet date? Would like to come out if it's on the weekends.

Hey all. The meet up went great. We did not pick a date for the next one, but I will send out an event invite via Facebook (easiest way) when we pick the next date - and I will try to post here also as a reminder.

It was good to see all the north-of-Austin area folks -- many of us can't drive all the way to Buda for the other meetup. After the event, my wife commented to me how nice everyone was - and indeed, a great group of folks. Thank you all who participated and let's do this again in September!

Did I mention that my son is the manager of the pizza place there... maybe at a future meet up we can get him to give us a group discount.

Had a great time at the event! Here are a few pictures of the night that I took. I will say that I was geeking out over the cars and didn't pull out the camera until after the beautiful 68 left!
