New Clutch

I have a 10 SS, throwout bearing blew out on me. My question is, which clutch should I go with? After seeing the price on some of these kits i'm considering just going stock. Are there any after market upgraded clutches that can use the stock flywheel? Any help would be appreciated. I currently only have bolt-on's.

I'm sure someone will chime in on aftermarket. However if you go stock there is a billet bearing support, made from aluminum, to replace stock plastic piece which is probably what failed in the first place.

Aftermarket or stock clutch, your decision. I definitely recommend the monster billet bearing support and a remote bleeder. As far as clutches, well I upgraded to a monster twin when my throwout bearing also went. So far so good.

If you have light bolt-ons and dont do much performance/track driving, a stock clutch is usually the best option.

I went with a centerforce clutch and flywheel. Also got the release bearing support. Thanks everyone.

The guys at JDP recommend the ZR1 setup. There's an adapter or something that JDP came up with to make it work better. Supposedly stock demeanor but can hold a massive amount of power. It'll be my set up when the time comes. I agree on the throw out bearing and also the bleeder hose isn't a bad idea either.
