This is exactly what a lot of us Camaro guys have been asking GM to do. Give us a base Z/28 with nothing in it but a LS7 and. Stick shift and let us decide what options to ask with a loaded out supercharged "luxury" version equaling the ZL1. But lets be honest Ford is just finally catching up to where us C5 folks have been living for a few years. If Ford keeps this up and GM doesn't play some better hands next round I may be driving a GT350R when I'm done with my ZL1 depending on how it performs and the price.

...With all the buzz about when we'll see the 6thGen Camaro, I think it's good it didn't show up today....I think the day belonged to Ford for sure...Congrats to them and their fans for a job well done in all areas...

Public's memory is short, though....I'm sure Chevy will respond with a big splash about it's line-up soon enough...

But, again, credit where it's due....Good job, Ford....

Perhaps New York might end up being a big deal for Cadillac....(Not sure if those have been shown yet)....Just thinking Caddy's new HQ is NY, moved from Detroit, I believe...

Maybe Chevy will do it's thing there, but it might be a NY thing for Cadillac...???.....Dunno, just a thought....

This is true, but 3704 would be lighter, so no one knows until specs come out. Also, the 350r is 130lbs less then a 350 with track pack, so how much does that track pack weigh? The Gt PP is said to be around 60 lbs, so most likely the the gt350 TP could be around 3750lbs, then minus 130lbs and your at 3620lbs or about last years GT weight. But the way everyone is speculating the weight, but next week it will be down to 3200lbs.
