Arh long tubes (long system) questions!

Hey guys so probably getting lt soon and thinking of going with the arh's. But i was wondering if i go with the long system with the 3in tubing that goes into the stock mufflers which are 2.5in (i have the NPP exhaust) is that going to cause problems because of the tubing size difference? Im wondering if its worth it to get the 3in tubing if I'm gonna end up restricting it back to 2.5 at the mufflers. if any of you guys are running this set up let me know! thanks for the help guys.

Power wise, not worth it. If you are supercharged or around 700+hp Id say Yes. Do something else before. Depends how much you like the NPP.

I'd recommend going with the factory connection. That center X pipe section will not make enough of a difference to warrant the extra cost.

Best regards,

I have this exact same system. It's the entire system from ARH which necks down to 2.5 just slightly forward of the differential. Since I pieced it together from various help from fellow Camaro5ers, I had to cut sections from my stock exhaust to finish it off. Only issue I had was the damn rattling on the tunnel brace, which i just installed longer bolts with washers to fix that.
