Whats needed to go FI

Turbo wise, I need to know what all needs to be done to the SS to get it turbo'd right.

So far I've seen:
-ZL1 Pump and Booster
-Injectors
-The kit Im considering- http://shop.huronspeedproducts.com/T...-camturboC.htm
"· Turbonetics T76 Ceramic Ball Bearing Turbocharger
· Massive Spearco front mount intercooler with a 4.5x26x11” core
· 2 Turbonetics Evolution 35mm wastegates
· Turbonetics Duo 35 by-pass valve
· T304 stainless steel TIG welded exhaust plumbing
· Aluminum intercooler and air intake plumbing
· 8 x 630cc/min fuel injectors
· 8 x NGK TR6 spark plugs
· *Diablo hand held programmer with CARB legal Tune (For LS3 Manual Transmission cars)
*SCT hand held programmer with CARB Legal Tune (For L99 Automatic Transmission cars)
· Coolant/window wash fluid reservoirs
· Hardware kit (fasteners, gaskets, clamps, instructions, EO label, etc.)"

Do I need anything else? Car is stock currently

Clutch, possibly axles. Custom tune would be strongly recommended. Tires, bushings, control arms. Strongly suggest a good PCV/Catch Can setup.

As for put it on and goto car shows, can probably do that, if you want to race and beat on it there is probably a decent list depending on how much power you want to make.

Mainly the car show category is what Im in. Ive had it for 4 almost 5 years now and it only has 8k miles on it. Plus I treat it like a baby so it wont be beaten on much at all. Some small pulls on the interstates in Mexico. But nothing big. Maybe 5 runs on the strip every 3 months or so. If that.

Is a custom tune really necessary where it comes with the proloaded tune on the Diablo? What would happen if I didnt go custom tune. The resson Id live with the Diablo tune is because the closest tune shop is a state away almost.

Yeah, but up here in KY your tune will be worth it. Use the Diablo to drive up, and have a great time driving home! You will want to verify "safe" with an expert, IMHO.

Bristol, Tn is 5hrs and 22 minutes from Cincy Speed in Cincinnati. It'll be worth the drive. Great tuner!

ShorTuning is half way. Might want to look into using James as well. Also Brian Tooley Racing is in KY and Brian uses ShorTuning for all of his LS engine needs.
Nice article.

You can also add a set of our gauge pods for a unique look and of course easy access to all your gauges
