Where can i get factory leather seats? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

I have an ss with cloth interior, but i want the factory leather seats. Can i get that put in at the dealership? Or do i have to find an upholsterer? has anyone switched from cloth to factory leather? I haven't seen any aftermarket covers that look as good as the factory leather.

I bet you could order the seat covers from GM and have a local uposterer install them, but not sure?????

Keep in mind on our OEM "leather" interiors, the only leather is on the front seats, and just the center panels of the seat where your butt and back touch. All other parts of the seats are vinyl.....and the whole rear seat (even the seating surfaces) are entirely vinyl.

Yep - Seat covers can be ordered. There is aftermarket leather that can be purchased as well and the stuff looks great!!

I had custom upholstery work done when I bought the car.
Factory leather is new, unharmed, and can be re-installed by an upholsterer.
Black w/ headrest SS logos.

Note though... I'm in Canada so I dunno what kinda duty you'd get dinged with.

Try this: http://www.katzkin.com/ I found a Katzkin dealer that would install the two tone leather that I wanted, and it is better than factory for about $1,500.

Yes, they are available separately from GM. We have sold many sets to quite a few members here on the forum.
