Smoking...

I quit smoking.
Cold Turkey.

Date of official quit:
Thursday November 26TH, 2009

Still Smoke Free as of Wednesday December 04th, 2009 -- and counting!

This thread is to help keep me on track so I don't look like a fool come summer with a cig in my hand.

Still not smoking ,even though i had a lot of temptation and desire after a night in the rain.
Not going to fail myself, I'm loving the feeling of breathing again too much!

Joe congratulations!

I'm almost 5 years smoke free and can tell you it won't be easy at first but the rewards don't take long to be recognized. I tried many times with many different quit smoking aids (gimmicks) but cold turkey was the only way to go. I'm gonna tell you what the secret is Joe.......you just really really have to want to do it. Don't let any doubts push there way back into your head. Also remember this, people say they enjoy smoking (as i did) but in actuality once you're addicted you simply don't enjoy not smoking. After 25 years of smoking a pack a day I've never felt better.

Best of luck and if i can help hit me up.

Ken

Good luck to you! A great comedian once said, quitting smoking is the easiest thing in the world, I've done it thousands of times. Make it stick man! I'm throwing out the butts once I get my Camaro. You can do it!
