Talking Flowmaster American Thunder

In bout an hour, I'll be on my way to get my Flowmaster AT put on. Also going to do resonator deletes. Not too worried about drone cuz I'm hard of hearing and the wife is profoundly deaf. Drone? What drone?!? Lolz Can't wait to wake up my beast. Currently have airaid with modified box (super holied out) . Hopefully I won't be disappointed. I know my neighbors will because I live in a Grandparents marketed subdivision. It's not a 55+ subdivision. Just marketed towards them.

I'd be suprised if the drone still isn't a bit of a problem...but hey....give it a shot and let us know!

Its going to sound like crap above 2k rpm unless you also add a magnaflow resonated x-pie then it will sound pretty good.

I highly suggest reading this post, shrinkdoc is right.

(Magnaflow 11386) <<<< That will control the high pitched rasp.

Sounds fine until you rev it. You need a resonated x-Pipe.

You don't need the res pipe unless your doing headers I never once got rasp with just the axle back. When I got LT headers the xpipe was a must after.

It will continue to sound like rice until he gets a res x-pipe.

That's not true at all I never got rasp just a low sound with the axle back so no it will not sound rice it's to low and quiet to be rice. When you get headers then it will wake up and need a res x pipe in had the flowmaster a for over a years now I think I would have noticed people saying it sounds ricey. Now with headers and the res pipe and ghost cam I always get people thinking its an 8 even other ss driver had to ask

It sounds nowhere near as raspy as that video and that's because he removed the resonators.

Yeah I removed my resonators, so in a sense, it's a catback. I think it sounds good. I have no immediate plans to do headers for quite some time as $$$ talks ya know. I've got other priorities that needs $$ attention. As for right now, I've done all I wanted to the car. Maybe this weekend, I'll do a in cabin video to see what y'all think. Keep in mind I'm hard of hearing so my hearing perception is not top notch like y'all's lol
