You have to completely clean the surface with like rubbing alcohol or nail polish remover. Same prep process as applying vinyl.

so if I do the tailight bezels and the bowties with this and then wash the car does the plastdip come off I guess you would have to hand wash. This could be cool cause you could take it back to stock anytime you wanted.

Its just your basic spray paint can just says "PlastiDip" on it. They sell it at Home Depot (I work there so I can confirm). You can buy this in huge industrial size (5-10 gal tubs I guess??) so I wonder if this would be a good/cheap way to do a paint job on a car. Idk but this stuff does seem to work wonders.

Only down side for me is they dont seem to make a gloss black. Im not too big on flat black but i wonder how well this stuff would work with Adams' VRT. Perhaps get it to be shinny that way?? Going to buy a can at work tomorrow.
