We feel it is a safe speed since it is an aggressive splitter for the car to go with out additional support. With additional support like you have then you can go faster. You have to remember at 130 mph are you looking at the front bumper of the car at that speed? usually the answer to this is NO. A front splitter that is not supported to the frame will start to pull down on the bumper. The faster you go the more downforce is created. The idea of a splitter is to create down force for better high speed stability, in order for this to happen the splitter needs to be link to the frame so it is pulling down on the chassis not the bumper of the car.

Installed today by myself. Simple instructions for those who may be intimidated on doing it yourself. Took me about an hour since I had to rig up a mop stick and wood blocks to hold up the other side and middle while I worked on one side. Love the look of it man. I took it up to about 110 mph and had no problem without the support rods. I didn't want to push my luck going over that with their warning. Thanks RPI for the fast delivery and quality piece can't wait for my z28 spoiler to get paint and resent to me.
