*Sigh* Huge dent in Rear Bumper Cover from backing into a short pole.

500$ deductible + raised insurance aren't very interesting

I'm guessing I need a new bumper unless someone knows a miracle body shop in Montreal.

PICS!@!

Now that's one time those backup alarm thingies woud have come in handy.

Sorry for your loss. It appears it's going to be new rear bumper cover time...

That sucks man :(. Depending on how much it costs to get repaired you might be better off buying the bumper cover yourself and putting it on. Shoot Dave Hiller @ Newman Chevrolet an email and he'll give you a price for a rear bumper.

I'll be getting a quote from the dealer and one from a local body shop. Some people think that the bumper cover can be saved with some heat work.

If it requires a new bumper cover I'll definitely look into ordering one and having it painted since I can see the dealer charging over 1000$ to get a new bumper cover.

Any input/experience from anyone on dent removal on a bumper cover?
