I am definitely having them fit to sit as low as possible where I can still see well as the sunroof is one option I wish I didnt have at this stage.

I'm getting the Corbeau VX2000's, with the double locking slider brackets for the Camaro... All leather...

According to the reports I've gotten, they sit a little bit lower than the factory seats...

I'll let you know the fit clearance as soon as I get them in the car... Should be a few more weeks. Sorry I can't do any better than that right now.

Removing both seats and replacing with only a driver's seat (Corbeau), I lost 75 lbs.

However, with the straight-back, my head was too tall with helmet. I'd go with a reclining Corbeau next time.

Well, I don't honestly know yet... I'm not sure what the facrtory seats weigh, but I think the Corbeaus are around 27 lbs per... I'll have to look it up

I looked on the website and I didn't see the weight...

I'll check the envoice and see if it lists a shipping weight..

The bracket is attached, I don't have a pic.

For the brackets, go here:

Corbeau Camaro 2010+ - (Driver) seat bracket E2156T $105.00

Corbeau Camaro 2010+ - (Passenger) seat bracket E2157T $105.00

You guys are running some really heavy seats .
My Kirkeys were 14 lbs stock. After my mods they were 7 lbs INCLUDING all the mounting brackets.

Nice Work!

For those of you who kept the rest of the airbags in the car, What size resistor did you use in the seat harness to fool the airbag system?

Mine may be a little heavier, but, since I cant switch back and forth from the factory seats to the race seats, I want something that offers long term comfort as well as functionality...

and if the car isn't fast enough due to a couple of lbs of weight, I'll just add a lb or two of boost... Problem solved..

You can measure the resistance and do it exactly... I believe a 3 ohm should work though.

Believe it or not the Kirkeys are actually VERY comfortable (more so that stock). I daily drove those seats for a couple of years before I parted out my car.

Wow, wouldn't have figured that... but I'll stick with the Corbeaus... '

I wanted the Sparco Milano Prestige seats but can't see spending 2K for each one....
