QTP Exhaust Cutout on V6?

Has anybody tried this yet, I used to actually have one on me 6 speed Celica GTS which was a 4 banger, back in the day and it sounded nasty for an import, so curious what it could sound like on the V6.

we tried taking the muffler out and replacing with a straight pipe... was gosh awful IMHO...

Has anyone tried straight pipes with the stock resonators removed? Maybe those are messing with the sound a bit?

We put a cutout on a v6 charger and sounded pretty good. Hard to explain but sounded like a turbo muffler v8 a little bit. Or like a very deep sounding 4cyl.
