I've driven my friends genesis and it seems a lot more responsive then my camaro I know that the weight make the difference but its just such a difference is it maybe the difference in gear ratios?

Maybe it's faster....but it's no Camaro. I'll pass on the Genesis.

Read up on motor Fred, they says it's a better driving experience then both the stang and camaro.

It's a boring car. It might be a little better performance wise but it's still no Camaro.

Maybe because it has a TURBO! So you get a little more of a punch when you hit the gas....

correct me if I'm wrong, but I was pretty sure the 3.8 v6 did not come turbo in the genesis and the 2.0 4-banger did?

why not wait till the 2013 genisis comes out cause its gonna have 345 hp. But its still not gonna look as great as a camaro no matter how fast it is.

The genesis is quicker, and the new ones are even quicker.
A few mods and youll be on par if not faster then your friends though. But that goes both ways

You are RIGHT!!! For some reason every-time I think of Genesis I think of the 2.0Turbo.... My mistake

those are the ones you see more often... if not for my friend owning a 3.8, i would forget about it more often. most people around here in genesis coupes have 2.0

I think the genesis looks pretty good and the top of the line definitely preforms better but it is also 30k+ for v6 + sport package or whatever it is called

Wrong, the R-Spec model comes with all the power goodies and the V6, brembo brakes, 26750. Pretty comparable with th a 1LT with the RS package, you are thinking about the totally loaded track package which is 31k and on par with a loaded 2LT RS,.
