Any tall people have trouble dirving this thing?

I recently purchased a new to me 2011 Camaro SS and I love the car.. especially the color.. but it's so hard for me to fit! I'm 6'3" and have the seat all the way to the floor and my head is still hitting the roof. Is this a general problem or am I just being crazy?

You must have a sunroof.

Usually only an issue if you have a sunroof...

You've got power seats that can be lowered

When I first got in mine my head was touching the roof, much better after I figured out the seat could be lowered.

I'm 6'5, 220, 36" inseam, all leg basically. I have a sunroof. I fit fine.

If you sit up 100% straight you might hit your head.

Just make sure the seat is all the way down AND all the way back.

People with longer torsos might have issues.

As others have said, height is why we did not get a sunroof. With out one, my head does not hit the interior ceiling and I believe I have room for a helmet as well.

Cloth seats adjusted all the way to the floor, no sunroof, 6'3" and lots of torso here. Barely enough room for my head, to the point where the seat is almost leaned too far back to be comfortable for me. I can't fit in a sunroof'ed Camaro.

You are not alone! lol

6'1" with seat as low as it can go and leaned-back some, my head no longer hits the roof, but no way a helmet will not! I didn't really want a sunroof, now I hate it! So, join the anti-sunroof club!

Yep 6'4" here and tall in the torso.(and fat). I've found my best option is leaning the seat back and then I fit fine. I have more of an issue wedging myself in and out than anything. I'm not used to driving a car that sits low. I'll get that figured out with more time behind the wheel.

I'm glad it's not just me! Yes to all I do have the sunroof which I figured was part of the problem. I'm pretty evenly split between torso and leg and it's tough finding a comfortable spot since I like to drive fairly straight up. As others have mentioned.. right now I drive all the way down and back slightly reclined... now if I could just get the steering wheel a TAD bit longer...

Another tall (6' 3") driver with no issues. I feel pretty comfortable in the car overall, it was one of the selling points. My seat is reclined a bit, as I don't like driving straight up (hurts my back after a while).

PS: Seat is not leaned back an excessive amount, but seat is down as far as it can go in back with a slight lift in the front.

I'm about 6'1" with no sunroof and I can easily see how a couple inches and the seat in the wrong position could cause problems. I only have about an inch of clearance with the seat all the way down. Tilting the seat backwards a bit might help if you're arms can still reach lol
