How much weight does Chrome add to a wheel?

I'm leaning towards getting my factory SS wheels chromed. I saw another post regarding the added weight of putting chrome/paint onto a wheel and this wasn't something I had considered.

I'd figure the added weight of the material is negligible...isn't some material removed to prep the wheel for chrome/paint anyways? Has anyone actually measured their wheel before and after getting chromed?

It isn't that much, maybe 1 lb or less. Chrome plating is very thin, but weighs more than paint does. No material is removed to prep a wheel.
