Get a dog. Or get something that makes a barking sound when something gets near your car. Cats don't like dogs, for some reason

Two choices

In the pound or in the ground. I am not fond of cats so ground is sound. We have a neighborhood cat too, it's only alive because it doesn't touch my camaro, it still traipses thru my yard regularly but that is minor so live and let live.

A lot of tough talk about killing the cat......I'm not sure how I'd react, but I don't think I'd hesitate to commit extreme violence against someone who deliberately harmed one of my cats or one of my kids.

How about a car cover, or moving one of your projects out of the garage and using it as it's intended. A garage is for parking cars, a workshop is for project cars. Use this as an excuse to expand your garage.

+1

I'm not a cat lover, but killing the cat? Really? Get a car cover.

Won't harm a cat but would kill a person? So cats are irreplaceable and peoplare not? Violence is violence regardless of the animal you commit it upon. That is ALOT of "tough talk" about killing a person. I mean, extreme violence would mean killing and not just a slap on the wrist, right?

If you have to ask, you don't have the balls to do what you have to do.

Go to PetSmart and buy a scatmat. It will shock kitty when she jumps up on your car and steps onto the mat. They have a 60 day return policy on electronics if you save the packaging and receipt. Kitty only needs a couple of shocking experiences before she says "screw that high vantage point" and finds a new victim.
You could try using a carpet runner, the plastic kind with little spikes on the back, and lay that over your car spikes up.
You can also just watch for this cat to come close, and use your key fob to honk at it. That's what I did to my cat, that and/or hosed him down good when he came within 10 feet of the camaro. He did not like getting wet. He has since found other perches.

Call a couple lawn care places. See if any of them do a garlic treatment to the lawn. the garlic repels insects as its main reason for the treatment but most cats hate the smell too so it may work for you. I know my cat wont go outside for a month after I treat my lawn. Usually its pretty cheap to. I charge 95 for a average 10k sq ft lawn.
