Stars Wars Celebration and Force Awakens Trailer #2
Watched the panel live during lunch for the launch of Star Wars Celebration 2015. Attended the Star Wars thing Disney does every year in 2013 and really enjoyed it. That pales in comparison to Star Wars Celebration. Wish I was there this year.

I fear the leaked script however
Also, big props to Peter Mayhew for reprising the role of Chewbacca. That can't be easy on the man.

I so want this movie to be good. I really hope it is better than Episodes I-III. And that melted Vader mask is creepy as hell!!

Judging from the trailers so far, it looks really stupid. I have NO IDEA with an amazing expanded universe of plotlines already establish (Grand Admiral Thrawn anyone? Go back to Darth Bane?) they insist on making a Disney angled, what looks like meant for kids, silly film.
So the girl on the desert planet is a Skywalker? That they lost? Ok, that makes sense. So now she becomes a jedi and beats the new sith lord that runs some remnant of the Empire? Who knows but it looks stupid. See more on this topic here: http://economicdisconnect.blogspot.c...star-wars.html

Seems it's aimed at the new target audience, judging from the content.

Well considering that in Episodes 1 - 3, all of the ships were much different. Curvy and smooth. Then 30 years later in Episodes 4 - 6 (FKA 1 - 3) we had all mechanical straight edge looking Tie and X-wing fighters. Then for some reason 30 MORE years later..........................no change.

1,2,3 are lame, I only like the old ones, I could watch those any time. I'll be going to see this new one, and I don't go to the movies much. Han Solo!
